You might need to repeat this process multiple times until you get the exact areas or pixels. If the Magic Wand tool selects other areas or pixels that you don’t want to remove from the image, then adjust the tolerance level using the available slider, as visible in the screenshot below. Now press n hold Ctrl key and use the left mouse button to select areas using the Magic Wand tool that you want to remove or make transparent. It will appear on the left side (see image below). After that, use the File menu in Paint.NET to open an image whose background you want to remove.Īfter that, press the F5 hotkey to open its Tools. Open Paint.NET using its desktop shortcut or Start menu. So, instead of making the image background transparent, you can simply make the entire image semi-transparent or set the opacity level as per your needs to adjust image transparency. Paint.NET also comes with the feature to set the opacity level for the entire image. Once the image will be ready, you can save it as a PNG image or some other supported format that supports a transparent background. The foreground objects or items in the image will remain as it is and the background pixels will have nothing. Then in such a case, you can use Paint.NET and remove the background from the image.
Let’s say you have a PNG image with white or some other background and you want that PNG image with a transparent background – or you have a QR code from which you want to remove white areas.

Before penning The Invisible Man Wells published two other science fiction novels, The Time Machineand The Island of Doctor Moreau. He even created the blueprint for a system of computer communication that looks like a forerunner of the internet. Wells is considered to be the godfather of science fiction writing, although he himself a sociologist, and an armchair scientist who genuinely wanted to push the world forward so that man could fulfill his potential. It has even been adapted by Bollywood with Bollywood idol Krishna as Griffin. The first big screen adaptation appeared in 1933, directed by James Whale, with Claude Rains, a horror film stalwart, in the title role.
Not surprisingly, the novel captured the public's imagination, not least because we have all at one time imagined what we might get up to if we were given an invisibility cloak for a day.
It is also in many ways a philosophy book since it is the development of Wells' own interpretation of Plato's theories of free will and right and wrong as they pertain to a man who has been rendered invisible. Underneath the semantics of the title, though, it is the story of a man who feels that he does not really fit into society very well, and who feels that there is nobody who cares about him, or notices if he is there or not. On the face of it, The Invisible Man is exactly what it says on the literary can it is a story about a man who becomes invisible. He was also captivated by Plato's contention that a man in possession of the power of invisibility could do whatever he wanted without fear of retribution. The inspiration for this particular novel was W. Despite its horror genre, the book is sometimes considered to be a work of young adult fiction, and Wells himself claimed that he took stories that would appeal to children, and re-worked them so that they would appeal to adults. Griffin has a passion for random acts of horrible violence and murder, both of which are considerably easier now that nobody can see him carrying them out. Wells felt a strong kinship with the Invisible Man when he felt invisible himself in his own life quite regularly, and often pondered whether or not anyone would notice if one day he completely disappeared. Wells' 1897 novel The Invisible Mancentered around a mad scientist protagonist the eccentric character, a man named Griffin, invents an invisibility formula that is centered around the refractive index of a body's light, and as the title suggests, it works, rendering him completely invisible.
